New this fall! Church school committee members have felt called to deepen their spiritual lives in study and prayer. To foster this development, the church school committee has decided to participate in the already established national program of Soul Sisters.
The national mission statement for Soul Sisters is as follows:
Soul Sisters is a Christ-centered ministry that encourages women across the county to grow in their faith through prayer and studying God’s Word both on line and on land. Our hope is that every woman in this group will know Christ in such a way, that His light will shine in them and through them for all the world to see.
Although this began as an idea from the church school, the church school committee would like to invite any women who feel that they are in need of spiritual sustenance to help face the challenges of caring for others and ourselves. Look for more information, from Heather Schaefer, Susan Jackson, or Sarah Robbins-Cole in the fall.
